Experience the joy of watercolours together with artist Lauma
She invites you to celebrate seasons of life by painting everyday objects with watercolours and share her joy of bringing something to canvas.
Throughout this series, you will explore a different theme at each workshop — each one a celebration of a season of life.
What to expect
At the start of the workshop, Lauma will introduce herself and walk you through the basic techniques of watercolours. She will introduce the theme and offer suggestions on what to paint — and you are welcome to share the object you brought and the story behind it.
From there, you will practice techniques step by step, sketch and paint your own piece.
Lauma will walk you through every step so that it is easy for you to apply. She loves sharing her knowledge and insights about watercolours and various techniques, and will also share tips that she wishes she had known as a beginner, with the goal of making the entire experience smoother and more exciting.
🎨 The evening closes with a small exhibition — a circle where everyone shares their creation and reflects on what the theme means to them.
Why Watercolours
Painting can have a calming effect and bring reaWatercolours are a beautiful practice of stepping into the unknown. You never quite know how it will turn out — and that is part of it. In the process, you get to let go, observe, and respond.
Lauma hopes you leave feeling inspired to continue at home, and that this becomes the start of something more. Watercolours are one of the quickest and most accessible ways to experiment with colour and painting.
About Lauma
Lauma is an artist and graphic designer based in Gothenburg, creating work that explores emotions and the connection between humans and nature. Feminine energy is a recurring theme in her art — calm yet powerful, a universal force present in everyone. Her goal is to invite people into that energy: creative, magnetic, intuitive, soft yet confident.
She finds inspiration in nature and the small moments of everyday life, and in movement and music — both help her connect more deeply to feeling and the natural flow of life.
“What excites me most about this event series is the chance to teach and show people how truly fun painting with watercolours can be. Painting flowers, in particular, is such a joyful experience. It gives us the opportunity to observe and capture the essence of blooms, creating a unique connection with nature. In that moment, you capture the feeling and it stays with you forever.”

< Lauma is the artist behind the brush and will be guiding you throughout the watercolour workshop.
